Olzhas Nurlanov is a talented accordion player from Pavlodar, Republic of Kazakhstan. Born on July 17, 1999, he began his musical career at the age of 6, entering the first class of the State Institution "Complex "Musical College - Music Boarding School for Gifted Children" in the accordion class. His first teacher, father and honorary worker of education of Republic of Kazakhstan, Alimkulov Meirman, instilled in him a passion for music from the very beginning.
Olzhas Nurlanov first showed himself on the world stage by participating in the first international competition at the age of 8, where he became a laureate of the 3rd degree and the youngest participant. During his school years, he won recognition, becoming a laureate of 19 competitions, including impressive achievements:
1. Victory at the Astana-Merey International Competition in 2009.
2. Grand Prix at the Siberian International Competition in Kemerovo, 2010.
3. First solo concert at the Music College in Pavlodar, 2011.
4. Grand Prix of the International Accordion Competition "Friedrich Lips Cup" in 2011.
5. Participation in the International Festival of Accordion Music "Bayan and Bayanists" in the city of Moscow in 2011.
6. Musical performance for the presidents of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2012.
7. First place in the International Accordion Competition in the city of Tianjin, China in 2012.
8. Participation in the XI International Festival of the Charitable Foundation V. Spivakov "Moscow meets friends" in 2014.
